Ok, Still a newbie but learning more. My question is, when I get denied for credit for various things, the letter always states something like "more than one delinquit acct or something like that. If I pay off the creditors or start making pymts then they won't be delinquint anymore. right? Even if this doesnt help your score wont it look better to have paid. Also, If I do start paying on these accts will that change the Date of last activity to now and make the bills have to wait another 7 years to fall off?

This person doesn't necessarily have to lie about accounts not belonging to her. She can say something to the affect of "I do not recall having a account with this balance. Please investigate." That is not lying. The CA's usually have a different balance than what you remember anyway. And they reage. And they basically report incorrectly most of the time. This is my experience anyway.

It seems like because it's just on TU it could be PG or then again, it could be TU. I imagine it's just a coding glitch which they will work out.
