I sent a letter to C-Bass since I had anything to do with them. Today I got a letter with the the following:

She said she sent a letter to the old address and it got returned, so now she is going to come after me, and "what is your current address?". I told her, "I contacted you concerning an inquiry made on my credit report, I did not call to discuss the account, thank you for the information". She said, "so are you disputing the account, that YOU are responsible for, because we don't recognize a divorce?". I answered, "I am neither disputing nor acknowledging it, what communications you want to address to me you may send to me in writting". She said "well what is your current address", I said, "apparently you already have that information, thank you, and goodbye" then I hung up the phone.

Sassy no offense but I don't see where the beef is. You jumped in and accused retrosoul of overanalyzing, not true, the fact is she accepted that you and her may have different ways of thinking fine. Just accept that you agree to disagree like she said, but there were racial undertones in that thread, and it was more than retrosoul that picked up on it. The fact that the members who actually posted those comments have not actually come forth to say what they actually meant says alot, you cannot say it for them even if you see it another way or did not see it at all. You cannot defend them if they are not defending themselves by saying what they really meant, sure express your opinion that's what the board is for, but the thread should have been locked no matter how you see it, it was a judgement call and a good one at that, and the fact that not anyone of those posters have not come forth to explain what they meant says a whole lot.
